“This summer I was offered the monumental task of creating an offsite Farm-to-table restaurant in Watkins Glen for Phish's 3-day festival, Magnaball. This was a restaurant constructed on a patch of grass, and was expected to fully operate with 150 seats, serving a full breakfast and lunch during the day and an exquisite seated 5 course dinner and beer pairing in the evening. In addition, there was a full bar and craft coffee barista area. All of this would appear and disappear within one weeks’ time serving 2400 covers over a 3-day period to happy Phish festival goers that had never before experienced this level of dining on a glorified camp ground. Because we were handed the challenge of operating like a real restaurant in an imaginary land we had to have all of the proper tools to manage like a real restaurant. This wasn't your ordinary catering gig or temporary vending gig where a swipe as you go method would work. We had- a team of 10 servers and 3 baristas 3 bartenders and 8 kitchen staff needed to be able to take orders, place orders, communicate orders and deliver orders in an efficient amount of time. We had a fully operating staff that needed a fully operating POS System. Only a mere two weeks prior to landing onsite the question of how to manage our kitchen tickets had not yet been answered, not because we weren't searching for it, but because no one was innovative enough to execute it. In comes Josh Menio, from Menio Global who drove to my site (2 hours away) personally, connected four Clover stations all pre-loaded with full menus and modifiers, and installed two printers - one for the bar and one for the kitchen to receive tickets. This service was a godsend. Without the technology, service never would've run as seamlessly as it did, and without Josh's technical support and supreme customer service we would not have had the time to resolve such an eloquent solution. He played a significant role towards our event's success and we knew when we got back home to Syracuse, NY we would switch from our current POS provider over to Clover as soon as possible. This day in age where we rely more and more on technology, it's refreshing to know there is still a real person behind the product.”

"Menio Global came highly recommended from a friend. I am always skeptical of cc processing salesmen. They typically remind me of the shady car salesman but Menio Global was the exact opposite of that. They educated me on the entire process, provided the most transparent proposal and delivered as promised. They cut our rates and per transaction fees by over 70% (which is true) which was the best deal I had been offered. When I asked why such a high rate of savings the salesman's reply was - "our model is to make a little on a lot of customers instead of making a lot on a small number of customers." Makes total sense to me. They also visit frequently and spend money in my establishment so that shows that he re-invests in his clients. It's a great business partnership.
